Employment Verification Program
E-Verify is used to verify an applicant’s legal eligibility to work in the United States, as either a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen with necessary authorization. This verification requires a signed I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification Form) from the new hire. This form is then submitted to the Social Security Administration and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to determine whether the information matches government records and whether the new hire is authorized. This verification process may only be conducted once an applicant is hired.
